Famous Guests staying at Langton House
Rick Steves, the famous American travel writer and presenter - recent guest at Langton House in August 2010
He writes and presents his TV shows in the USA with flair and a great sense of humour - I really enjoyed meeting Rick and swapping a few travel stories!
This was not the first time Rick had been to Langton House, but this was the first time he stayed here.

Robin Rimbaud - an electronic musician (who works under the name Scanner) also a writer and media critic, multi-media artist and record producer
stayed with us in October 2010 - it was early in the morning this photo was taken, so that's my excuse for looking bad!
Robin was playing a one night gig at the local arts centre in Windsor. I really enjoyed the short chat we had and found out that he had a really great sense of humour and was my total pleasure to have been able to look after him. Next time I hope Robin has a chance to stay longer.
"Dear Paul,
It was delightful to meet you on Friday and wanted to simply say how perfect my stay was. I was immediately struck by the spotlessly clean bathroom and bedroom, a very quiet comfortable room, even though it faced the main road. The breakfast was yummy and it's only a pity that we couldn't get to chat a little more whilst there, but then again you had your fine kitchen outfit on! I'll most certainly stay with you again on my next visit to Windsor. Best wishes Robin"
Jonathan Andrews, the actor, stayed with us recently while he was playing Emmet in Keeping Up Appearances; which was a comedy play running at the Theatre Royal. It was great to have Jonathan around and find out a little bit more about life as an actor - his poor wife has seen little of him over the run of this play as it toured the UK, but with the end in sight Jonathan was looking forward to some time at home! December 2010.
