We have been full for Ascot week for months now, June 20 -24, with a few of our regular customers, who we love to see every year – especially if they turn out to winners at the races! Any hot tips will always be gratefully accepted, but a bad tip will result in you receiving a smaller breakfast as punishment!
The Monday before the start of the races (19th ) is Garter Day and a ticket only event in the Castle. A marvellous day full of true pageantry watching the Queen and a few select members of the Garter – the only actual honour the Queen can actually award herself – walking down the inner Castle ground to St Georges Chapel. It is a ticket only event and if anyone is interested they should write off to the Castle Superintendent on the 1st January for the free tickets.
